By setting up a memorial page, better access is given to other digital functionalities beyond the death notice,
flower shop and memorial donations which are available for all deaths.
Searching for deaths and sharing on social media
Social media has changed the way information is found and shared. This increasingly happens online, also when it comes to deaths. We’ve enabled funeral homes to offer their online services to help users find information about someone’s death through searching online, for example through Google. This is easily shared to social media platforms.
Practical information such as the time and place is integrated with Google Maps to make directions easy to find and share with guests. There is also an option to register attendance to the memorial service following the funeral.
Light a Candle and Write a Condolences
Many people want to pay their respects and share thoughts and feelings by writing tributes. For others, it can be difficult to find the right words and lighting a candle can feel good.
In this section, friends and family can post and share photos, videos and music. Our module supports uploads of most file types such as those from fro example YouTube and Spotify.
Order of Service and Memorial Book
Both the order of service and memorial book can be uploaded and made available on the memorial page
